Project Services, on behalf of Education Queensland, appointed Marcus Knapp and Mark Dann of Ray White Commercial (Queensland) to market and sell the property known as the former Pinkenba State School in Brisbane.

Tender was selected as the most suitable method of sale due to the nature and zoning of the property and the restrictions placed on possible uses and redevelopment. The property is zoned ‘Community Use’ 4 and comprises a level 2.4 Ha* site improved with school buildings and two street frontage. The property is adjacent to the Pinkenba residential precinct, is located just 12 kilometres* North-east of the Brisbane CBD and is adjacent to the growing Brisbane airport precinct.

Enquiries were received from potential owner occupiers, developers and community use organisations. Ten tenders were received on the closing date and six of these were in the form of cash, unconditional contracts.
