The launch of the expanding Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct highlights an exciting opportunity for business owners and investors, as 30 industrial lots hit the market.

The lots are being marketed by Ray White Special Projects agents Mark Creevey and James Hanley, alongside RWC Queensland agent Brocke Hambrecht on behalf of the Scenic Rim Regional Council.

Mr Hambrecht said there had already been an astounding amount of interest in the Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct due to the lack of industrial land available in south east Queensland.

“We’ve been seeing the under supply of industrial property over the last few years and, despite some testing times with the rise in interest rates, industrial has remained the top performing asset class in the commercial property sector,” Mr Hambrecht said.

“We have a number of interested buyers who, due to that undersupply, are being forced to look outside those metro hubs in Yatala, Beenleigh, the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

“They’ve been looking at alternatives and this is an offering that hasn’t been on the market for a while now, and it provides an exciting opportunity for some of those businesses to secure a foothold in the south east Queensland market.

“We’re excited to see the Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct transition into a healthy and thriving business hub.”

Mr Creevey said the lots ranged in size from 1,723sqm to 5,693sqm.

“The precinct is ideally positioned to take advantage of great infrastructure initiatives such as the national inland rail network and the emergence of Yarabilba and Flagstone, both quickly becoming large master planned cities south of Brisbane,” Mr Creevey said.

“The expansion of the precinct ensures the region can accommodate a range of industries. Car Washes, warehousing, and everything in between can be accounted for under the estate’s industry zoning.”

Scenic Rim Mayor Greg Christensen said the council was grateful for the Queensland Government's funding injection of $5 million which had enabled the expansion of the industrial estate on council-owned land.

"The Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct project reflects Council's commitment to continuing to build on the Scenic Rim's economic prosperity," he said.

"It will create opportunities for local businesses to retain and expand their capabilities and encourage the establishment of new businesses, all of which will strengthen our local economy and generate jobs growth.

"This is set to be a game-changer for light-to-medium industry in our region, providing an alternative location to Brisbane or the Gold Coast, and complementing the heavy industries of the Bromelton State Development Area."
