New strata offices for sale in and around the Sydney CBD have highlighted demand for fitted office space with onsite parking.
RWC South Sydney agent John Skufris said properties in Sydney, Haymarket, Edgecliff, Waterloo and Rosebery are all currently offered for sale including parking and in some instances with storage units.
“A lot of owner occupiers are moving into the CBDs from the suburbs where there’s a bigger availability of parking. They only wanted to look at premises with parking as they still wanted those facilities available to their staff,” Mr Skufris said.
“The benefits of a storage space include faster accessibility to inventory and a more efficient working environment.
“For example, a 84sqm office at 515 Kent Street, Sydney, was recently purchased by an established salon group for $950,000. The property came with a storage unit on title which was located in the basement.”
The most recent property for sale is Unit 139 at 414 - 418 Pitt Street, Haymarket, which comes with six parking spaces on title.
The office suite of 191sqm is located on level two and the sale includes six lock up garages suitable for parking and/or storage.
The property is being marketed for sale by Mr Skufris and Domenic Severino on behalf of the Shin family.
“The office was historically occupied by a real estate group with offices throughout Australia and Indonesia whose staff benefited from onsite parking”, Mr Skufris said.
Mr Severino said the property is being offered for sale by private treaty with vacant possession. The asking price was $2.196 million.
“The property has an existing fit out with occupants having access to gym and swimming pool, plus building management services located in the foyer,” Mr Severino said.
