After 14 years of service to Toowoomba’s commercial property sector – within a sales career spanning 47 years, including four years heading the planning and development portfolio as a regional counsellor – Mr Marks has chosen to step away from the structure of a traditional agency environment and move into a more flexible commercial consulting and advisory role.

"I'll still be working closely with the Ray White Commercial Team as well as other like-minded businesses,” he said.

“This isn’t stepping back – it’s stepping into a new way of working that gives me the freedom to contribute where I can add the most value.”

In reflecting on his time with RWC, Mr Marks notes what he will miss most is the collaborative team environment – sharing ideas, solving problems collectively and working alongside dedicated colleagues each day. He extends his sincere appreciation to the entire RWC Toowoomba team for their trust, support and camaraderie over many years.

“Working with a team that genuinely cares about clients and about one another has been one of the great privileges of my career.”

As Mr Marks steps into the next chapter of his career as consultant, he does so with genuine pride in the contribution he has made to Toowoomba’s commercial property landscape.

He is especially proud of the service he has provided to sellers and buyers, tenants and landlords, and the relationships built across sectors.

Importantly, Mr Marks is not stepping away from the community he values deeply. He looks forward to continuing his active involvement through the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce, Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) and a range of local and non-profit organisations, ensuring his experience remains available to the region he has always championed.
