Burleigh’s iconic ‘Justin Lane’ building hits the market
The building which is home to one of Burleigh Heads’ most famous dining institutions, Justin Lane, is on the market.
Emilio Ciavarella of RWC Burleigh Group has launched the campaign for the high-profile retail asset, which commands uninterrupted beach and ocean views alongside prominent Gold Coast Highway frontage.
Justin Lane, widely regarded as a cornerstone of the Southern Gold Coast’s hospitality sector, has operated from the site for 14 years. The landmark venue recently solidified its commitment to the location by executing a new five-year lease extension.
"Justin Lane is a Gold Coast institution with an exceptional trading track record," Mr Ciavarella said.
"Properties of this calibre rarely come to market. Combining a premium position with clear ocean views, it represents a premier trophy asset for commercial investors."
The property features a diversified income stream, balanced by a secure seven-year lease to Quickstop, a nationally established boutique convenience operator. As of October 1, 2025, the tenancies generate a combined annual net income of $308,337.88, with a Weighted Average Lease Expiry (WALE) of 4.3 years.
The investment is underpinned by structured income growth, featuring fixed 4% annual rent increases and an upcoming mid-term market rent review.
The property's long term capital profile is further enhanced by a 20-metre (four-storey) height allowance, providing significant scope for future vertical redevelopment.
The campaign launches amid major infrastructure upgrades in the area. Stage 3A of the Gold Coast Light Rail, which terminates in Burleigh Heads, is nearing completion. The infrastructure project is projected to bring more than 25,000 additional daily trips to the area and deliver an estimated $1.2 billion in economic benefits to the region.
