Minister for Economic Development Queensland (MEDQ) is offering the sites through Ray White Special Projects including:

  • Proposed Lot 508: 7,105sqm designated for high-density residential development

  • Proposed Lot 509: 2,949sqm earmarked for residential-led mixed-use development

Ray White Special Projects director Mark Creevey is marketing the properties with Matthew Fritzsche and Tony Williams and said the land release responds to Queensland's housing supply crisis, with submissions closing at 4pm (AEST) on 12 February 2026.

The sites, totalling one hectare, sits within the $850 million Yeerongpilly Green mixed-use precinct, adjacent to the recently upgraded Yeerongpilly Cross River Rail station and a retail village anchored by Woolworths with 26 specialty retailers.

Mr Creevey said the precinct would become a Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venue precinct given its proximity to the Queensland Tennis Centre, which is planned for major expansion including a new 3,000-seat showcourt arena and 12 additional match courts.

He said both lots fall within the Yeerongpilly Transit Oriented Development (TOD) neighbourhood plan under Brisbane City Plan 2014.

The sites support diverse housing typologies including build-to-sell, build-to-rent, retirement living, aged care, social and affordable housing, student accommodation, and short-stay or hotel uses.

Consolidated Properties Group recently secured development approval for a 25-storey, 181- apartment residential tower on King Arthur Terrace within the same precinct, demonstrating council support for high-density outcomes.

All necessary service infrastructure connections - water, sewer, electricity, and telecommunications - are available.

The sites are accessible from Godiva Avenue (Lot 508) and Fig Tree Street (Lot 509), with full infrastructure and road networks already delivered as part of more than $30 million in community infrastructure investment.
